A company's brands are often among its most important assets. This makes it all the more important to strategically position trademark rights. We help protect brands as effectively as possible and safeguard company names. A trademark registration secures these rights.
Protect name and logo
When clients want to protect a name or logo, we first check its eligibility for trademark protection. This prevents the trademark office from rejecting the trademark as unprotectable because it lacks distinctive character or is purely descriptive. We also analyze how a trademark is intended to be used and advise on the appropriate form of registration.
We then develop a customized list of goods and services for the product or company as the basis for the trademark application. This allows us to precisely define the scope of protection for the trademark and ensure its optimal protection.
Depending on where the trademark is to be used in the medium term, we register it as a German trademark with the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) or as an EU trademark with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). If a trademark is protected by an international registration in several countries or regions, we will submit an international registration to the DPMA or the EUIPO, which will then be used to WIPO Of course, we also support trademark registrations abroad.
