Incorrect list of goods in trademark registrations of online shops

A common mistake in trademark registration for online shops: The trademark is protected for goods, even though the shop itself labels no or only a few goods with this trademark. In many cases, the actual "product" of the shop is the platform or online shop itself.

Example: Many online shops, such as Zalando, use their brand for the shop itself, but sell products from other brands, such as clothing from the “Boss” brand.

The correct approach would be to protect the service "retail services relating to ... [e.g., clothing]." If you plan to offer your own products in the future, such as T-shirts, it naturally makes sense to protect the trademark for these goods as well.
